Let's see . . . everyone is talking about how long they've been here and . . . I lost track it's been so long. I can barely remember what it was like Down Below it's been so long

I like it here. I still don't understand why people complain when they first get brought here, but I've learned I'm easier to make happy than most people here. After all if Mr. Warden didn't bring me here, I'd either be dead or still Down Below. I wouldn't have seen Big Brother Heine again or met Mr. Badou or met my little sisters! Or Mr. Cloud or Mr. Gojyo or Mr. Warden or Mr. Quatre or Mr. Mello or Mr. Shadow or Miss Matt or Mr. Luxaky or Meilin or Yuui or Kimi or Maria or Rock or Mercury or Alice or anyone! I wouldn't have celebrated Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Year's or Valentine's Day. I wouldn't have seen the sky or clouds or the stars or gone sledding or played with dolls and toys or had nice clothes or a nice bed to sleep in or done the Secret Sana game with Mr. Jing. I wouldn't have eaten candy!

. . . I wouldn't have gotten better, or learned all the things I've learned, or been able to be as free as I am here.

I'm happy here. I'll hate to go when it's time, but . . . I'm okay with that, too. I've already gotten to do a lot of the things I wanted to do. I'm ready for that.
